Yeah!! I am so happy that I finally unable to proceed to the next round for mooting competition.haha!! When a person loss in a competition he or she will feel sad right. But for me I am glad that I loss.Well the 3rd mooting competition was about Judicial Review. I and my team mate put up the argument that the case that we were bringing forward did not had judicial review as at the time during Judicial review, one party was present in the hearing.Well I heard that the next mooting Question is about attempt murder.Wish the following round competitors all the best!!HAHA

Do we have Viva on Monday

J asked that question. Q answered' Well yes, the Perodua company will still make the production for the Viva, the car. But what J was trying to ask about was that she was pretty unsure whether there was a viva test. This Viva test was actually an oral test. I found out that it had canceled. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Means no need to prepare!!!YAHOOOOOOO!!!BUT,BUT wait a minute. My lecturer announced that this oral test will be replaced by an assignment. Haizzzzzz. Anyway the question is about Jury system in the UK. hahaha..Guess what I found??It was founded shortly after the Norman Conquest!!!!!!

I finally got to know the date for the mooting competition. Ahhhhh!!It's on the 3rd of February!!!kinda nervous!!hahahaha.I wanted to have my question paper for the mooting but It haven't released yet..*sad*hahahahahaha..The organizer announced that the question paper will be released on the 12th this month but it had been delay!!!Maybe the photostat machine broke done. Who knows?

Viva Test

Ok. viva test? So you gonna test drive the Viva car and review it??Some may ask. I am not going to test drive any car.But why Viva test ?Well, erm...I gonna to crap about the oral test for the subject English Legal System or maybe known as Common Law reasoning.Oh crap!!the test gonna be held on the 9th of January.I was given an opportunity to choose the topic which had been given. There is about 3 question in the question sheet. I only need to choose one. One?? yeah one.

Question one was about Human Right Act 1998

Question two was about Jury

Question three was about Judicial Appointment

Oh ya!! this test is a one to one basis and there is a hidden camera too. One to one??Hidden Camera?hahahahaha..yeah there is!So sad. :( I am planning to discuss about the Human Right Act 1998 but guess what?? After doing some research about that act i realized that The scope of discussion is veryveryvery wide. So now i am changing my mind to do question three...Whhich is....... Judicial Appointment!!!!!!hahahahaha

Oh so today is the second day of 2012

Do you want to hear a bad news? The bad news is....Time cannot reverse. Time only can move forward. Haizz.. Why don't the world scientists, thinker, and maybe us define time??What is time? When time begins? Who can understand time fully? I dare to say that none of us can’t fully understand the subject about time. OK, so what are you going to tell me? Well I hope that there is a time machine. hahahaha. Time machine? Nah, no such thing yet. So right now, I am thinking what makes the earth to orbit in its axis? Why is the motion of earth around the Sun? Why not the Moon? Why not the Saturn? Why is the sky blue? Why not my favorite color red? These are the really silly, stupid question that i often asked. Nah just kidding. What am i trying to say is that we couldn't fully understand something if the inventor didn't tell us. Who can fully understand the function of an Iphone if there is no guideline, no review and etc.???I bet none of us do.. That's the reason why there were /are people like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton and other more who is/was a physicist that observed and study about the nature.

I have a list of resolution. You wannna Know?? The answer is.... NAH I don't have a list.My resolution for this year is that I wanna get flying colors for this coming May exam and I will start to blog frequently( i try too)..hahahahaha

Mooting

I signed up for mooting competition with my friend Mr. Ting. He was my partner in mooting. I played a role as a junior counsel, he on the other hand, as a senior counsel. You know how we came into a conclusion on who will be a senior counsel and who will be junior? I asked him whether he joined debate before. He said he joined before. "Oh well if you joined debate before then you....are a senior counsel.." I replied. So he is a senior counsel and I the junior one.The different between the senior and the junior is as follow

1. Senior Counsel can help Junior counsel if he is in trouble..hahaha (He helped me during the first round)

2. A senior counsel normally holds a higher portion of marks.

3. The Senior counsel normally is the first one who start first.

We received our question paper.. The mooting question was about whether there is doctrine of consideration and doctrine of promissory estoppel in the case. My partner bring out the argument for promissory estoppel and I bring out the argument for consideration. We had sleepless nights in preparation for mooting. I think before one to two days before mooting the junior counsel of our opponent had quit the competition and replaced by another candidate. Our mooting was schedule to be at 2 pm. I and my friend arrived in college early in the morning to practice. We practice, and practice, and practice until we forgotten about lunch. AS the time is ticking nearer to the mooting competition we were getting nervous and hungry..But because there is luck we, in the end managed to get through it to the second round.

Second round of the mooting. the case that we were to discuss, was about provocation and diminished responsibility in relation to the the Homicide Act 1957. My partner set up an argument for provocation and I set up argument for diminished responsibility. Same as the first round we had sleepless nights again. BUT in the end we won the competition.

NOW leh??We are waiting for the date for the third round mooting competition to be out!!
