Mooting

I signed up for mooting competition with my friend Mr. Ting. He was my partner in mooting. I played a role as a junior counsel, he on the other hand, as a senior counsel. You know how we came into a conclusion on who will be a senior counsel and who will be junior? I asked him whether he joined debate before. He said he joined before. "Oh well if you joined debate before then you....are a senior counsel.." I replied. So he is a senior counsel and I the junior one.The different between the senior and the junior is as follow

1. Senior Counsel can help Junior counsel if he is in trouble..hahaha (He helped me during the first round)

2. A senior counsel normally holds a higher portion of marks.

3. The Senior counsel normally is the first one who start first.

We received our question paper.. The mooting question was about whether there is doctrine of consideration and doctrine of promissory estoppel in the case. My partner bring out the argument for promissory estoppel and I bring out the argument for consideration. We had sleepless nights in preparation for mooting. I think before one to two days before mooting the junior counsel of our opponent had quit the competition and replaced by another candidate. Our mooting was schedule to be at 2 pm. I and my friend arrived in college early in the morning to practice. We practice, and practice, and practice until we forgotten about lunch. AS the time is ticking nearer to the mooting competition we were getting nervous and hungry..But because there is luck we, in the end managed to get through it to the second round.

Second round of the mooting. the case that we were to discuss, was about provocation and diminished responsibility in relation to the the Homicide Act 1957. My partner set up an argument for provocation and I set up argument for diminished responsibility. Same as the first round we had sleepless nights again. BUT in the end we won the competition.

NOW leh??We are waiting for the date for the third round mooting competition to be out!!

Hey!!!Hey!!Today is my last day of holiday !!Sad Hor?Why last day?Cos tomorrow is my first day to college.Yeah!!I am reading law at BAC..School Started at 10 a.m with the first subject which is English Legal System ,then follow by Moral Studies!!(sien!!)Class starts at 10 am and end at 4 with 2 hour of break..By the way,tomorrow is my Birthday!!haha!!

Hey Mang!!

Ahhhhhh!!!I did not update this blog for ages...Anyway I just came back from Johore.I mean my grandpa 's place.Well,some may asked 'what the heck yo doing there??Well basically what I did was that I am a Shop keeper at my granpa's mini market.Shop keepers?are you kidding?Well..Well I am a cashier over there,with no knowledge about the price of the vegetable,and fruits..There is one guy..He came in and bought 100 cigarettes butts which cost around RM50...I told my uncle that if there is 10 buyers, 1 of them bought 100 cigarettes butts..we are gonna to make a profit easily.....By the way,I worked from 10 a.m to 12 a.m..with 2 hours of break on the average..

Leafless Tree

I hiked Bukit Saga(a hill which located near Taman Melur ) a number of times with my family, cousin ,and etc .I finally spotted one tree..Just one!!Which is quite unique to me.The tree is leafless!!It stood there for quite some time.
All things Bright and Beautiful the LORD GOD made them all!!

Oh my....

Today is the eighth day for semester 3.My lecturers told us that we gonna have our test 6.When he/she told us about when will it be held, it shocked almost everyone.The test is going to held on 28 of January for pure Math After Chinese New Year we are going to sit for Biology,Chemistry,Physic and Applied Math.I haven't fully prepare for my up coming test.hehe (It seems that I am having no stress about the exam cos i am sitting down in front of this computer). I will definite study during CNY in order for me to catch up!!

Christmas Gift ?

I went to Singapore last year (2-3 weeks before Christmas) to visit my aunt.I went to Chinatown with my mum..We went to every shopping complex;hanging around.We spot a camera shop,went into it to survey cameras.After a period of time,I was interested with a camera.My mum on the other hand was super geng.She found out that I liked the camera so much. then she bought me a camera...As a Christmas gift?I personally don't know!!

We then went to a Chinatown streets?I don't know.The one located near the MRT..We walked..stopped and listened to the promoters talking about their products.They talked and talked for about 30 minutes :trying to promoted the stuff that they are selling..But at the end.....

We didn't buy anything..They were so cham..couldn't convinced us.
